Berkshire Pork

 Berkshire pigs are known to be the best pigs to be raise as pork around. Providing a large rib diameter and more meat around the ribs makes this pig a delicious meal come time to butcher. The Berkshire breeds also have large loins that in my (jon) opinion, look and taste like a good old new york strip, thats combined with some pork rib flavor.

 I always save a berkshire or 2 back for my freezer every year. Thats about the only ones from my stock that I will take for myself. They are great tasting pigs and we love raising them!
