Welcome!

Hello everyone and welcome to Iowa All Natural Farms®. If you are here in seeking to invest in our all natural farming association, PLEASE click on the "Becoming a livestock owner" page.

What we are about:
We are a small farm based out of Central Iowa that is looking to expand and provide all natural pork to consumers at a low cost price. Our livestock is fed only natural grain products and is pasture raised. We provide them with a good barn to stay out of bad weather as well. We house pigs and chickens currently.

***We are looking to get into the dairy cow business as soon as we can find the breed of cattle we are looking for!

Our pigs:
We provide our pigs with both cracked and whole corn that is from only locally grown iowa farmers. We contract feed through them and we take a 300 bushel wagon load every week or so. We also mix all natural molasses protein  pellets with the feed daily as well. We ration feed each pigs 8 pounds of grain feed a day. They also graze the pasture and get natural vitamins and minerals from the soil as well.  Our pigs love their environment and we treat them like they are one of us. It is surprising how extremely friendly they are.
We farrow pigs as well. We farrow all naturally and do NOT use farrowing crate. We have tryed before and we do not condone the use of them... We have A-Houses and a barn full of all natural nesting box's so that the gilts and sows can farrow all naturally so they may have better mothering skill and birth more hardy healthy piglets.
*** We thought these videos from Food, Farmer, Earth were pretty interesting. Take a look at them and let us know what you think!

***Here are some of our current prices on our all natural pork. Feel free to call us with any questions regarding our meats and others foods!

Our Chickens:
Our chickens are raised all naturally and we have multiple different methods that we use while raising our chickens! We tend to use the most common method of raising free-range chickens. A large fenced in area that the chickens are free to roam. We typically move the fence every week or so to keep them on fresh grass. The chickens literally eat the blades of grass right out of the ground. This is what we love to see. Our chickens survive off of only the ground and corn provided to them. This is the most natural chicken you will ever eat due to the very way we raise the birds, disclosed above!

Our egg birds are raise in much of the same way accept they are provided a barn for shelter rather then small portable houses. The barn is dark with a small portion of light to keep the birds laying in assigned nesting box's! The nesting box's are all natural home-made wood nesting box's and we collect and process eggs every day! We send the eggs out to anyone who orders daily. We you are ordering online we have a $50 minimum order fee. Our eggs run $3 a dozen and this does not include shipping! Shipping is based on the weight of the package. We have silver-laced, rhode island red, black star, and red start hens. This birds produce an average amount of eggs for a small farm of our stature.

Our Prices:

Whole Chicken Butchered: $13 a whole bird + shipping&handling

Eggs: $3 a dozen +shipping&handling MINIMUM ORDER OF $50

We love our livestock. We take pride in raising all natural meats that are a FRACTION of the price of other all natural food markets on both the web and local food markets. We are not certified by any company other then the USDA inspection of our meats and other food products! Please! We encourage you to call us for any order you wish you make! Or even simply just to ask a few questions about our farm, our feed, or our operation in general! Thanks! 641-373-4579
